Description

Strategic risk analysis is undertaken before an event occurs to identify and prioritise hazards by level of risk and guide risk-informed programming, preparedness and readiness actions. Under the Strategic Framework for Emergency Preparedness, the workshop will bring together global and regional WHO staff and external experts to strengthen a common approach to leading, facilitating and supporting roll-out of systematic risk analyses. The workshop will: Review existing approaches for risk analysis and profiling; Agree a global approach to for the development, and use of risk profiles; Establish a global workforce for conducting risk analysis at the country level.
