The event is a capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the skills of government officials and private sector actors, including women-led MSMEs, to effectively leverage digital technologies for intra-African trade under the AfCFTA. It is organized by ECA through the African Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) and IDEP, with financial support from the Government of Japan, in collaboration with TradeMark Africa (TMA) and in partnership with Google and other key partners. The initiative seeks to promote inclusive digital transformation, foster peer learning, and enhance the development of robust regional value chains across Africa.
