The ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development and SDG Investment Fair will be held on 20 to 24 April 2026, at UN Headquarters, New York.
The Forum this year assumes added importance and a critical role in mobilizing momentum and concrete solutions from the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4). The event will bring together heads of state and government, ministers and high-level government officials as well as senior officials of international organizations. Civil society organizations, the business sector and local authorities will also be represented.
Through a series of high-level investment promotion and innovation sharing events, the SDG Investment Fair fosters partnerships and replication of best practices around mobilizing private finance for sustainable development. These sessions offer practical insights and solution-oriented recommendations for all stakeholders in the Financing for Development (FFD) process, helping to bridge the widening SDG financing gap in developing countries.
