Dear Users, Indico.UN has been updated to v3.19.0, introducing face picture quality verification in registration forms. This ensures uploaded images meet official guidelines, as recommended by the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS).

The UN will conduct a Training of Trainers Course for the United Nations Field Medical Assistant Course (UNFMAC) under the Triangular Partnership Programme (TPP). The ToT for UNFMAC consists of a Trainers Virtual Workshop on 19-22 April 2022 and a subsequent tactical UNFMAC for peacekeepers at UN RSCE, Entebbe, Uganda, in June 2022 or later.

UNFMAC provides trainees with the knowledge, skills, and capability to provide life-saving interventions until arriving more highly trained care providers and enhances the emergency medical response skills and capabilities of peacekeepers in life-threatening situations, and increases survivability.

The ToT aims to enhance practical teaching skills for UNFMAC and its contents are based on UN Field Medical Assistant Training Handbook which is scientifically evidence-based. The course will be adapted to specific UN needs and will be delivered in English.
