Description: A workshop on implementation of United Nations General Assembly resolution 73/333, entitled “Follow-up to the report of the ad hoc open-ended working group established pursuant to General Assembly resolution 72/277” is being convened in accordance with decision made by the Bureau of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (CPR). On 12 May 2021 the Bureau of the CPR decided to convene a series of online informal workshops with all Member States, Members of Specialized Agencies and Accredited Stakeholders.
The Co-facilitators have designed the provisional programme in such a way that the workshop will provide the opportunity for informed and in-depth discussions on international environmental law and means of implementation. A panel of experts in the field of international environmental law and means of implementation will open the meeting and there will be an opportunity for delegations to ask questions and engage in discussions with them.
Representatives registered for the first and second informal workshops on implementation of United Nations General Assembly resolution 73/333 held on June 2021 will be automatically registered for the third informal workshop..
