About the event
The open symposium hosted at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 9 November 2026 is entitled “Reinventing science diplomacy in a changing world.”
The event takes place in the context of the World Science Day for Peace and Development (10 November) and constitutes an official side event of the Paris Peace Forum (10-11 November). It will be organized with the support of the European Commission in cooperation with UNESCO and the Paris Peace Forum, and takes place in parallel to the Fourth Chief Science Advisors Roundtable (10 November).

Participation throughout the day is free and open to all those with an interest in the topic.
