The Waste Management for Circular Economy Monitoring in Latin America webinar will provide participants with practical knowledge and tools for generating and using data to monitor progress towards a circular economy. The webinar will introduce guidelines and methodologies developed under the EC-funded project and strengthen national capacities for monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The webinar will also highlight the critical role of reliable, timely and comparable data in
understanding progress, identifying gaps, and informing evidence-based policy and decision making. Through country experiences and good practices from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), participants will gain a better understanding of approaches to data collection and how environmental data can be translated into meaningful policy action.
