The World Health Organization (WHO) and Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO) will co-host a half-day event 30 October 2025, from 13:30 to 17:30, at the WHO premises, Geneva, Switzerland.

This event is part of the Geneva Data Community series, held quarterly. These bring together Geneva-based actors from the data and digital communities, along with a wide range of stakeholders, to strengthen data ecosystems and promote evidence-based decision-making. Stakeholders include UN partners and others including ICRC, CERN, IFRC.

The objective of the meeting is to:

1. To receive an update and progress of support for Govt of Switzerland’s planned Trusted Data Observatory.

2. To share WHO’s good practices and priorities in data, digital and AI efforts to strengthen use of data and metadata for equitable healthy outcomes.

3. To strengthen collaboration and joint actions within Geneva’s data community of practice.

The event is also an opportunity to show support for WHO’s host country efforts.
