An official note verbale issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or an accredited Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York or Vienna containing the Government’s official delegation to the meeting (including names, titles, email addresses and participation modality of the entire delegation) is required to register through Indico. Each delegate is required to attach a copy of the note verbale to her/his registration request in Indico.

Important information for Organizations

An official letter, with letterhead and signed by the Head of the organization, with the details of the participants that shall attend the meeting (name, title/function, workplace, individual email address and participation modality) is required to register through Indico. Each delegate is required to attach a copy of the official letter to her/his registration request in Indico.

In-person participation

The in-person meeting will be held in Plenary Hall, on the first floor of the M-Build, VIC, which has the capacity to accommodate two delegates for Member States. Member States may nominate more than one participant attending in person should they wish to alternate their presence in the meeting.

There is a limited number of seats with nameplates available for multi-stakeholders in the meeting room and those seats will be allocated to multi-stakeholders on a first-come-first served basis, depending on the time of their registration. There will also be seats reserved with a general ‘Stakeholder’ nameplate. While only one representative from each organization may be present in the mentioned meeting room at any given time, the Organization can nominate more than one participant attending in person should they wish to alternate their presence in the meeting.

Online participation

Delegations are invited to indicate which delegates are nominated as online speakers to receive a speaker link. Delegates without an online speaker role are requested to follow the session through the webcast, which will be available in the six official languages of the United Nations, to ensure the optimal functioning of the Interprefy platform.
