The 2021 Sustainable Energy Week incorporates the 30th session of the Committee on Sustainable Energy (22-24 September) and the 8th session of the Group of Experts on Energy (20-21 September) / register here
The 30th session of the Committee on Sustainable Energy will be held at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, and online.
The 30th session will feature endorsement of the strategic review of the sustainable energy subprogramme, affirmation of the context and continuing work of the Pathways to Sustainable Energy Programme, and a discussion of UNECE member country commitments to energy in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement. Given the importance of 2021 for the energy agenda and the growing political relevance of the work of the UNECE sustainable energy subprogramme, and recognizing the 30th anniversary of the Committee, please join us in Geneva or online 22-24 September and contribute to the discussions!
