The United Nations Environment Programme is in the process of developing its next Medium-Term Strategy for the period 2022-2025.
The development of the Strategy comes at a critical time for global environmental action. As we face enormous environmental challenges and collectively battle a global pandemic that is a symptom of the ailing health of our planet, it is clear that we need to make a transition towards building back a healthier, greener and more resilient world.
UNEP recognizes that Children and Youth Major Group play a critical role in this transition, being strong advocates for change that can drive our world towards more sustainable outcomes. In this context, we would like to invite you to participate in a virtual conversation around our next Strategy, to be held on 19 August 2020. “
The session will be 3-hour long, either in morning or afternoon Nairobi time. Precise timing will be communicated later.
