Pursuant to General Assembly resolution A/RES/75/4, the President of the General Assembly will convene a special session of the General Assembly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic at the level of Heads of State and Government for two days, on 3 and 4 December 2020, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at United Nations Headquarters in New York.

In line with the above, those representatives of non-governmental organizations in consultative status with ECOSOC who wish to make a statement in the general debate of the special session are requested to express their interest to DESA by 25 November 2020 Wednesday until 1:00 pm.
