The informal technical meeting on the draft rules of procedure of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and Pollution (ISP-CWP) will be held from 1 to 3 October 2026 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting will be preceded by regional consultations in the afternoon of 30 September 2026.

Participation in the meeting is open to members of the Panel and the European Union. They are invited to nominate up to two experts with relevant expertise in science-policy bodies, institutional governance, or rules of procedure. 

Registration of official delegations attending the informal technical meeting on the draft rules of procedure of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and Pollution (ISP-CWP) is conducted through this portal.

Each delegate must register individually.

The following documents must be uploaded to the INDICO portal at the time of registration:

1. A copy of the Note Verbale or an official letter from the relevant Ministry, Embassy, or Permanent Mission. The Note Verbale or official letter must clearly indicate:

§  The name and dates of the meeting;

§  The name of the Head of Delegation and the names of any alternate representatives and advisers;

§  The full names and official titles of all nominated members of the delegation.

2.  A recent passport-size colour photograph (with a white, grey, or other neutral-coloured background).

3.  A copy of the passport biographical page.

Please note that the review and verification of registrations is not automatic and may take several days, depending on the volume of registrations received.

Please also note that meeting registration and the application for travel support are separate processes. Delegates requesting travel support must first have their registration approved before submitting a travel support application.

Delegates nominated to receive financial support are requested to submit a separate travel support application through the designated travel support portal after their registration has been approved, in accordance with the process described in the invitation letter dated 10 July 2026.

The deadline to register for the informal technical meeting is 6 September 2026 at 23:59 East Africa Time (EAT).
