Background
Pursuant to decision 15/CP.30, paragraph 14, the Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) will convene a meeting during NAP Expo 2026 to facilitate an exchange of views among relevant organizations and stakeholders on enhancing the provision of support to the least developed countries (LDCs) for implementing national adaptation plans (NAPs). This is an in-person meeting scheduled to take place on 21 May 2026 in Kigali, Rwanda from 0900-1030hrs during the NAP Expo.
The outcomes of the meeting will inform the work of the LEG and will be reflected in a summary to be included in the report of the Group to the Subsidiary Body for Implementation at its sixty-fifth session in November 2026.
How to register

First, create an account in the system following the steps below:
- Step 1: Go to Indico.un.org.
- Step 2: Enter your email address and click “Send me a verification email”.
- Step 3: Go to your inbox and click the verification link you receive, which will take you to a new page. Please check your spam folder in case you don't receive the email verification link in your inbox.
- Step 4: Complete the “Creating a new Indico profile” form on the new page by filling in all mandatory fields and clicking on “Create my Indico profile”.
PLEASE NOTE: After completing the four steps, you are NOT automatically registered for the events.
Once you have successfully created an account in the system (steps 1-4 above), click "Register Now" to register for the events.
