COURSE PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENT
Training content covers the necessary knowledge and skills related to practical flight, theory of flight, UAS regulations, integrating the UAS into existing command and control systems and utilizing existing communication and IT systems to support UAS operations. Personnel will be trained on UN specific use-cases and standard operating procedures.

Instructions for completing the e-learning course and quiz.
a) Log onto the UNCAP training portal here
b) Sign in using your GMAIL account, for those participants who do have un email addresses (where it requests you to enter your UN account)
c) Click on “Courses” and then select “Uniformed Personnel.”
d) Option 1: Scroll down to BASICS AND PREREQUISITE FOR MICRO-UAS - UN C4ISR ACADEMY FOR PEACE OPERATIONS and then enroll for the course (English version).
e) Please note that the deadline for completion is 20 september 2025. Kindly send an email to UNC4ISRacademy@un.org, with a copy to mugamba@un.org as soon as you have completed both the course and the quiz indicating your learner ID and your results.
f) There are guidelines for the study material – available for both the English and French versions. Please follow the guidelines. You will be able to view the guidelines once you open the course.
g) An additional quiz will be given on the first and final day of the course. The quiz may be graded and may count towards the final score.
All participants are strongly encouraged to read all recorded materials. This information is essential for the “Remote Pilot” course.
