Information about visa and entry requirements

ENTRY INTO SENEGAL

As a meeting participant, it is your responsibility to obtain any vaccinations and visas which may be necessary for this travel.

Please check on the website of the Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs through this LINK or verify with the nearest Senegalese Embassy or consulate whether you require a visa for your entry into Senegal. Nationals from ECOWAS countries and holders of the United Nations Laissez-Passer (UNLP) do not require an entrance visa into Senegal.

If you do require a visa, please select the relevant option for visa support letter on the registration page in INDICO and ensure that the information provided in the registration form (personal data) exactly matches your passport details. This information will be used by WHO to issue your visa support letter to facilitate your application process.

If you are eligible to apply for an electronic visa (e-visa), you can apply here .

We urge you to apply for a visa well in advance of your departure date. Please note that the process may take up to four weeks so make sure you keep to the registration deadline on 11 November 2024.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

If you are arriving from a country listed as a transmission risk, you must have a certificate to prove that you have had a yellow fever vaccination. This applies if you have transited through the airport of a country which is listed as a country with risk of yellow fever transmission. Please note that you may need a yellow fever certificate for onward travel to some other countries, due to the risk of yellow fever in Senegal.

For full details about health entry requirements and recommended vaccinations, please see here.

COVID-19
There are no COVID-19 testing or vaccination requirements for travelers entering Senegal.
