UNEP is commencing the development of its next Medium-Term Strategy for the period 2026-2029. This presents a significant opportunity to build upon our previous achievements and address ongoing environmental challenges affecting global communities.
In this regard, UNEP is pleased to extend an invitation to Member States to participate in one of three upcoming online Dialogues. These sessions are designed to provide an informal platform for collective reflection on UNEP's aspirations and the formulation of its next Medium-Term Strategy.
The insights gathered from these dialogues will inform the drafting of the full Strategy, which will subsequently undergo review and consideration through established CPR processes. Ultimately, the Strategy will be presented for adoption at the UN Environment Assembly in November 2025.
