This training seeks to support ESCAP member States – with an emphasis on those that have completed SDG 7 roadmaps or national cooling action plans – to better understand how to mobilize technical assistance and finance for sustainable energy projects. Development partners will present on sources and types of technical assistance and finance, along with funding criteria and steps towards mobilization. Member States will be invited to present priority areas where support is needed.
Workshop-style discussions will support a broader understanding of the material and will allow participants to better understand how various options may apply to their particular contexts and priorities.
