The Unite FRIM Regional Capacity Building Workshop, set for March 4-7, 2024, at UNGSC-Brindisi, follows a series of successful technical and capacity-building workshops previously held for UN missions.
This workshop, a collaboration between OSCM, OICT, and the United Nations Global Service Centers (UNGCE ), is part of the ongoing Unite FRIM Programme efforts. It aims to further technical skills and capacity among around 20 participants from the Middle East/Europe and African Missions, leveraging the integration of nearly 34,000 monitoring parameters across over 7,100 devices and the recent addition of more than 1,500 sensors and 9,100 acquisition parameters in 2023.
Key components of the upcoming workshop include Hands-On Labs for practical technical skill enhancement, Data Journey Sessions focusing on data analytics and operational improvement, an introduction to Remote Control and Automation for expanding operational capabilities, and a session for sharing Lessons Learned and feedback to inform future Unite FRIM developments and priorities.
