In accordance with General Assembly decision 73/546 and as decided by participating States of the conference on the establishment of a Middle East zone free of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, the fourth session will be held in New York from 13 to 17 November 2023.
The opening meeting will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, 13 November 2023, and will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in the Economic and Social Council Chamber.
On the first day of the conference, the participating States will take a decision to approve the participation of observers other than those mentioned in decision 73/546. Delegates of these observer entities will be provided with access to the open meetings as soon as the conference has approved their participation.
