16th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNCCD

The sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2 to 13 December 2024.

Parties to the Convention and accredited organizations already received the official invitation to attend the conference and nominate their representatives to take part in COP16.

In order to assist delegations in preparing for the conference, a provisional agenda and relevant documents for the session are available on the on the COP16 official documents page including the “Information for participants” document.

Please be reminded that participants are responsible for arranging and acquiring their own visas and accommodation.
