Pursuant to General Assembly resolutions 73/226 and 75/212, the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations will convene a Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the Objectives of the International Decade for Action, “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018–2028 from 22 to 24 March 2023 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE
In accordance with General Assembly resolution 75/212, relevant non-governmental organizations, including civil society organizations, academic institutions, the scientific community, the private sector and philanthropic organizations, that are not currently accredited by ECOSOC, or that have not been accredited to participate in the World Summit on Sustainable Development or first round of Special Accreditation to the UN 2023 Water Conference can apply through this platform to seek special accreditation (second round) for the Conference as observers.

Relevant non-governmental organizations, including civil society organizations, academic institutions, the scientific community, the private sector and philanthropic organizations may apply for special accreditation by following the REGISTER NOW link at the bottom of this page.
The application for special accreditation is NOW OPEN until 2 December 2022.
*Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States in accordance with GA Resolution 75/212. The name of the organization and country will be shared with the Member States, and other information, including but not limited to the homepage and/or the reason for participation may also be shared if requested.
