The 6th Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific (6th AP Forum) will take place in Nadi, Fiji from 26 to 29 August 2025. The Forum will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Republic of Fiji and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
The Forum is a platform for governments, intergovernmental organizations, and major groups and other stakeholders to discuss environmental priorities and contribute regional perspectives to the Seventh session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) scheduled to be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 8 to 12 December 2025, and will focus on the theme “Advancing sustainable solutions for a resilient planet".
The Forum will be convened at the senior officials’ level on 28 August 2025, followed by the ministerial segment on 29 August 2025. The Asia-Pacific Regional Youth Environment Forum and the Asia-Pacific Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment as well as the Asia-Pacific Major Group and Stakeholders Forum will take place prior to the senior officials meeting. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to organize side events at the Forum related to the UNEA-7 theme.

Online registration for participants will be open until 15 May 2025. Please make sure to bring a valid national passport or ID with you to the venue to activate your badge.
