Exhibition for World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW)

The United Nations Office at Geneva and the UK and Swedish Permanent Missions to the UN in Geneva are hosting an Art Exhibition on the occassion of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2021.

The exhibition displays eight cartoon panels, created by Wang Xulin - award-winning illustrator, cartoonist, writer, and muralist based in Toronto. The panels illustrate a world with antibiotics vs a world without antibiotics over the decades up to 2050, and will raise awareness of the threat that Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) poses to modern medicine.

It will be on display from Monday 15 November to Wednesday 24 November 2021.
