A First Farewell

The Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China, in partnership with the United Nations Office at Geneva,
cordially invites you to the film screening of "A First Farewell"

on 23 October from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Room XIX.

A First Farewell is a heart-melting movie mainly based on the real life of Isa Yasan and played by non-professional actors in ethnic Uygur language. Isa, a primary school boy from a family of goat herders in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, leads a carefree life but must say a number of sudden good-byes, including to his beloved deaf and mental sick mother, his good friend Kalbinur who is going to a faraway school, and the adorable lamb taken care by Kalbinur and himself together.
