Please note that in response to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, many meetings and conferences have been postponed or are taking place virtually. The UNECE Resource Management Week 2021, including the Expert Group on Resource Management 12th session, will be held 26-30 April in Geneva and online.

At its 12th session, the Expert Group will continue its work to develop and implement the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) and the United Nations Resource Management System (UNRMS) for the sustainable management of resources including minerals, petroleum, renewable energy and nuclear fuels, as well for anthropogenic resources, geological storage and groundwater.

The UNECE Resource Management Week 2021 will comprise several sessions via the Interprefy platform with simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Russian. Other sessions will be in English only via Webex. Subject to the COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time, participation will be possible in person in Geneva. Registration is mandatory whether participating in person or online. All registered participants will be provided with the Interprefy and Webex connection details closer to the event.
