Registration for the HLPF takes place using the Indico, an event management platform. We recommend that you read these brief step-by-step guides. The guides answer all FAQs concerning the actions that your organisation's Conference Focal Point needs to take and your approval status:

The following questions will help you to identify how to register for the HLPF:

1. Does your organisation have ECOSOC Consultative status?

Organisations in Consultative Status with ECOSOC must have an annual or temporary UN Grounds Pass in addition to completing this Registration Form, in order to attend the 2019 HLPF. These grounds passes should be requested as soon as possible, and no later than [insert date].

Organisations that are in consultative status with ECOSOC can request up to 9 temporary grounds passes at a time, in addition to 7 annual grounds passes. These passes need to be requested through the Integrated Civil Society Organizations System (iCSO). Click here for more information on how to request grounds passes: http://csonet.org/?menu=86

Click ‘Register Now’ at the bottom of the page to access the HLPF Registration Form.

2. Is your organisation on the CSD Roster?

In order to attend the 2019 HLPF, Organisations on the CSD Roster must complete the HLPF Registration Form to request temporary grounds passes for the HLPF. CSD Roster organizations can request up to 5 temporary grounds passes. Once the registration is approved, a confirmation email will be sent. Information on how to obtain temporary grounds passes for organizations on CSD Roster will be sent to approved participants after registration is closed. Click ‘Register Now’ at the bottom of the page to access the HLPF Registration Form.

3. What if your organisation does not have ECOSOC Status and is not it on the CSD Roster?

Being accredited to the Unied Nations is not a prerequisite to participate at the HLPF.

The Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS) may choose, at their discretion, to include representatives of these organisations under their umbrella so that they may participate on behalf of accredited organizations. If you are registering through an umbrella organisation of one of the MGoS, please do not use this form. Instead, contact the Focal Point of the umbrella organization associated with your MGoS.
