WHO, in collaboration with ITU will organize a stakeholder discussion on the ‘Make Listening Safe’ initiative over 17, 18 and 19 February 2020.

Participants have three possibilities for registration:

1. For all 3 days (17-19 February) if you are interested in all topics

2. For 17 and 18 February,  if you are interested only in the discussion on the WHO-ITU Standard for safe listening devices/H.870

3. For 18 and 19 February if you are interested only in the WHO regulatory framework for loud sounds in entertainment venues.

It is important for all participants to attend February 18, as this will provide them with an overview of the Make Listening Safe strategy and give the context of the current work being undertaken.

Records of past WHO-ITU consultations on safe listening can be found here : https://www.who.int/deafness/make-listening-safe/mls_consultation_Feb2019/en/
