The General Assembly will hold a high-level meeting on the fight against tuberculosis on 26 September 2018. The high-level meeting will take place from 10.30 AM to 6.00 PM at the UN Headquarters in New York.
The high-level meeting will consist of an opening segment, a plenary segment, two consecutive multi-stakeholder panels and a closing segment. More information on the planned programme can be found in UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/72/268.
Registration for the high-level meeting is now open for representatives of non-governmental organizations with ECOSOC consultative status, as well as civil society organizations, academia, medical associations and the private sector with special accreditation.
The opening, plenary and closing segments will be held in Conference Room 4. The two consecutive multi-stakeholder panels will be held in parallel in the ECOSOC Council Chamber.
As seating is limited, to ensure the broadest possible participation in the high-level meeting:
- Each registrant must choose to attend the meeting either in Conference Room 4 OR the ECOSOC Chamber;
- Each organization may register up to two representatives.
Please note that registration is NOT a guarantee to attend the high-level meeting!
Registration applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and those confirmed to attend will be notified by email. This confirmation email can be used as a supporting document for visa applications.
