Setting targets, budgeting for and evaluating the offer of PrEP in combination prevention services relies on high quality data and correct assumptions being used in any models. As PrEP programmes mature, this meeting is intended to take stock of the types and sources of data available and how to strengthen the modelled guidance to meet the needs of programme planners.
The meeting has a specific focus on sub-Saharan African countries with populations at high HIV risk. Participants will include programme planners and modellers from these countries as well as from research institutions and international stakeholders.
