The United Nations General Assembly will hold a high-level meeting on the fight to end tuberculosis on 26 September 2018 in New York with the overall theme “United to end tuberculosis: an urgent global response to a global epidemic”.

An interactive hearing will be convened by the President of the General Assembly on 4 June 2018, in New York, as part of the preparatory process for the high-level meeting.

Special accreditation is now open until 27 April 2018 for relevant non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and the private sector with expertise in tuberculosis to attend the high-level meeting and participate in the interactive civil society hearing.

Non-governmental organizations in consultative status with ECOSOC do not need to apply at this stage.

Please note that once the accreditation process is finalized, each participant will need to register separately to attend the interactive civil society hearing and the high-level meeting.  Separate registration forms for both events will be opened in due course.
