The seventy-first session of the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner’s Programme (ExCom) will take place from 5 to 9 October 2020 in the Assembly Hall at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
At its annual session, ExCom reviews the work of the Standing Committee of the preceding year and establishes its programme of work for the next 12 months. It examines UNHCR’s financial requirements for the coming year and approves the annual programme target. ExCom also adopts decisions on a range of administrative, financial and procedural issues.

La soixante-et-onzième session du Comité exécutif du Programme du Haut Commissaire (Comité exécutif) se tiendra du 5 au 9 octobre 2020 dans la salle des Assemblées du Palais des Nations à Genève.
Au cours de sa session annuelle, le Comité exécutif passe en revue les travaux du Comité permanent de l’année écoulée et établit son programme de travail pour les douze prochains mois. Il examine les besoins financiers du HCR pour l’année à venir et approuve le budget-programme annuel. Le Comité exécutif adopte également des décisions d’ordre administratif, financier et procédural.
