Background
The RCC Global Forum takes place annually, and convenes the hosting partners of the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centres and regional partners. This gathering seeks to take stock of the RCC work in 2026, discuss challenges, achievements, and lessons learned and collectively set priorities and modalities of intervention for the year(s).
RCC Annual Global Forum 2026
This edition will take place concurrently with COP 31 in Antalya, Türkiye, on 11 November 2026, 17.00-18.00 in Special Event Room Number 2. Remote participation will be facilitated.
Following a presentation from the RCCs to provide an overview of the work of the year and lessons learned, the meeting will open for a round table discussion with participants. The RCCs will seek to collect partners’ inputs and integrate these to the upcoming RCC 2027 workplans.
The moderator will invite all participants to share insights on regional challenges and priorities, as well as further strategic input, and will prompt this 30-minute discussion with guiding questions displayed on slides.
