UNIDO, through ITPO Tokyo, is implementing the Global South Project to promote sustainable industrial development through cooperation between Japanese companies and partners in the Global South.
Seven demonstration projects are currently entering implementation, applying innovative Japanese technologies to address development challenges in countries of the Global South.
The Introduction Ceremony will present the programme and showcase the demonstration projects currently under implementation. Participating Japanese companies and their local partners will come together in Vienna to present their projects, share their experiences and engage with representatives of Member States, UNIDO colleagues and other key stakeholders.
