Voluntary Trust Fund for the purpose of assisting developing countries, in particular the least developed countries, land-locked developing countries and small island developing States, in attending the meetings of the Preparatory Commission to prepare for the entry into force of the Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction, and to prepare for the convening of the first meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Agreement (BBNJ Trust Fund).
Application for assistance with travel and daily subsistence allowance (DSA), when applicable.
Please note that each nominee is required to register individually. A formal letter of nomination issued by the respective Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York is required to complete the registration.
