The new FAO in Geneva Youth Dialogue series is organized by the FAO Liaison Office in Geneva (LOG) and the Office for Youth and Women (OYW), through the World Food Forum (WFF) Global Youth Action Initiative. The series aims to serve as a platform for exchange, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing among young leaders, Member States, international organizations, civil society, academia, and FAO technical divisions.
Marking the first dialogue of the series, The Status of Youth in Agrifood Systems will be organized in collaboration with FAO’s Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division (ESP). The dialogue will address the structural barriers young people, especially rural youth and young women, face in relation to employment, food security, resilience, and inclusion.
