The Annual Consultation Meeting on Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs) and Coastal 
Partners is instrumental in fostering and enhancing cooperation within the LME 
community and beyond. It serves as an interactive platform for sharing expertise and 
holding strategic discussions, engaging primarily the Global Environment Facility (GEF)-
funded marine portfolio and a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives from 
Regional Seas bodies, Fisheries Management Organizations, international NGOs, and 
partner organizations.
