Welcome to the registration page for the Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance.
The AI Dialogue is the world's first international platform convened by the UN General Assembly where all governments and stakeholders sit at the same table to have the meaningful conversation on AI the world needs. It brings together all 193 United Nations Member States alongside the private sector, civil society, academia and the technical community to exchange best practices and build common approaches to AI governance.
The first session takes place on 6 and 7 July 2026 in Geneva.
This Indico.UN page is for participant registrations across all stakeholder categories: Government, Private Sector, Academia, and Others. Please submit your registration request and upload the required credentials for your participant category. All registrations are subject to review and confirmation by the event organizers.
How to register?
Requests for registration must be submitted exclusively through this Indico.UN platform.
- Submit your request: Click the appropriate registration link below to fill out the form. Upon submission, you will receive an automatic acknowledgment receipt by email.
- Upload documentation: you must upload your required supporting documents at the time of registration (see below).
Please note that individual participation without formal organizational affiliation is not permitted.
Required supporting documents
- ALL PARTICIPANTS: A copy of a valid passport or national identity document.

MEMBER STATES: A Note Verbale listing the members of the Delegation, including, where possible, the Head of Delegation.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS (IGOs): A nomination letter on official letterhead, signed by the Head of the Organization of the relevant department.
- UN SYSTEM ENTITIES: A scanned copy of a valid UN Agency Grounds Pass or official institutional ID. Note: Registration must be completed using your official organizational email address.

NGOs, ACADEMIA, and PRIVATE SECTOR
A nomination letter on official letterhead, signed by the Head of the Organization or the relevant department. - MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES
- Media correspondents should register through the dedicated media registration form here below: "Media accreditation" section.
- Official photographers, videographers, and press officers attending as part of an official delegation should not use the media link. Instead, click the button in the "Registration" section below, to register under your official delegation.
