  • The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva, in collaboration with the FAO Right to Food Team of the Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division (ESP) and the FAO Office of Emergencies and Resilience (OER) invites you to a hybrid briefing session on “The Right to Food and Localization”. In line with FAO's prominent role in contributing to the localization agenda, this session aims to explore and promote the transformative potential of the Right to Food agenda as complementary tool to enhance locally-driven responses to effectively combat food crises. This session is part of the FAO in Geneva Right to Food Thematic Dialogue Series that seeks to emphasize the need for concerted action and commitment at all levels to fully realize the Right to Food for all, to advocate for the redoubling of efforts to build inclusive agrifood systems that uphold human rights, and to highlight the cohesion and collaborative action between Rome and Geneva across Permanent Missions, UN agencies, civil society and academia.
