ESCAP is implementing a study project on “Accelerating Collective Action in the Third Decade of the Programme of Action for Landlocked Developing Countries (2024–2034) through Strengthening Operational Connectivity along the Asian Highway Network and its Connections.” The project aims to support member States in promoting low-carbon and climate-resilient corridor infrastructure through resilient design, emerging technologies and sustainable construction practices; enhancing transport and logistics performance through digitalization and smart operational systems; and strengthening collaboration between landlocked and coastal countries by streamlining cross-border processes to improve the overall efficiency of regional connectivity.
This Regional Meeting will be organized in Istanbul, Türkiye, to present and discuss the study findings of the project.
Interpretations will be available in English, Chinese and Russian.
