The United Nations (UN) in Thailand, in close collaboration with the Royal Thai Government, is developing the next UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2027–2031. Serving as the central instrument for planning and implementing all UN development activities in the country, the Framework defines the UN’s collective contribution to advancing Thailand’s national priorities.

The UN has formulated draft Outcomes that form the foundation of the new Results Framework, ensuring alignment with Thailand’s national priorities.

This multistakeholder consultation marks a critical step in the process, providing an opportunity to validate and enrich the proposed strategic direction of the UN in Thailand through the insights of key national partners. Engaging government institutions, civil society, the private sector, and academia is essential to foster ownership and ensure that the new Cooperation Framework is fully aligned with national priorities and responsive to the needs of the people.

The half-day consultation will be held in person to enable interactive discussions and direct engagement among participants. Plenary sessions will be conducted in both English and Thai, with simultaneous interpretation provided, while breakout group discussions will take place in Thai.
