The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) is guided by a Programme Coordinating Board (PCB), which acts as the governing body on all programmatic issues concerning policy, strategy, finance, monitoring, and evaluation of UNAIDS.
The 57th PCB meeting will take place from 16 to 18 December 2025, consisting of both a decision-making segment and a thematic segment. The meeting will be held in person at the Royal Tulip Brasília Alvorada Hotel in Brasilia, Brazil. For those unable to attend in person, limited online access via Zoom will be available for registered participants.
A field visit will be organized on Monday, 15 December 2025, ahead of the meeting. This field visit will offer delegates direct exposure to the HIV epidemic and response and an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the role of the Joint Programme, the various local challenges, and best practices contributing to the global AIDS response.
