The Thai National Statistics Office (NSO), in collaboration with ESCAP, is enhancing its Statistics Sharing Hub (https://stathub.nso.go.th/
), which is built on the international SDMX standard to improve data accessibility and interoperability. While the portal has advanced data sharing and consistency, technical challenges remain in maintaining and expanding it. The project therefore focuses on strengthening NSO’s technical capacity to manage and upgrade the .Stat Suite platform, ensuring long-term sustainability through staff training, restructuring the portal’s content for easier data access, refreshing staff skills in SDMX-based data modelling (especially for SDG indicators), and identifying and preparing priority datasets for publication.
