The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), have launched the Bangkok Roundtable for Just EV Transition To realize a transition to electric mobility that delivers benefits for workers and communities. The Roundtable provides a recurring space for city agencies, technical experts, businesses, academia, and civil society to share knowledge and shape practical steps to prepare the workforce and expand access to cleaner mobility for all Bangkok communities. The third session of the Roundtable focuses on the Just Transition for the Electric Mobility Workforce. To support knowledge exchange and stakeholder collaboration, the Third Session of the Bangkok Roundtable will be held simultaneously with the Regional Meeting and Workshop on Unlocking Finance for Scaling Up E-Mobility in Asia and the Pacific.
