The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), together with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), with support from UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions), has launched the Bangkok Roundtable for Just EV Transition to advance a shift to electric mobility that delivers benefits for workers and communities.
The Roundtable provides a regular platform for city agencies, technical experts, businesses, academia and civil society to exchange knowledge and shape practical measures to prepare the workforce and expand access to cleaner mobility for all communities in Bangkok.
The third session of the Roundtable focuses on the Just Transition for the Electric Mobility Workforce. To support knowledge exchange and stakeholder collaboration, this session will be held in parallel with the Regional Meeting and Workshop on Unlocking Finance for Scaling Up E-Mobility in Asia and the Pacific.
