Registration period
Registration is open from Monday, 1 December 2025 to Thursday, 22 January 2026 at 6 p.m., Vienna time.
Venue
The plenary meetings will be held in the M-Building at the Vienna International Centre. The session will be held in the six official languages of the United Nations.

The plenary meetings of the session are available on the UN WebTV webcast, which is public and does not require registration.
Important information for Member States
An official note verbale issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or an accredited Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York or Vienna containing the Government’s official delegation to the meeting (including names, titles and email addresses of the entire delegation) is required to register through Indico. Each delegate is required to attach a copy of the note verbale to her/his registration request in Indico.
The email addresses provided by participants in Indico may be used by the secretariat to communicate information pertaining to the session.
Visa support note verbale
If requested by a permanent mission, the secretariat may issue a visa support note verbale to Member State delegates. In this case, permanent missions are asked to email an official note verbale confirming the applicant’s participation in the session to cybercrimeconvention@un.org not later than 3 weeks before the participant’s intended date of arrival in Austria.
Visa support letters cannot be provided for multi-stakeholder representatives.
Important information for Organizations
An official letter, with letterhead and signed by the Head of the organization, with the details of the participants that shall attend the meeting (name, title/function, workplace and email address) is required to register through Indico. Each delegate is required to attach a copy of the official letter to her/his registration request in Indico.
The email address provided by participants in Indico may be used by the secretariat to communicate information pertaining to the session.
Distribution of grounds passes
Grounds passes will be distributed at Gate 1 of the Vienna International Centre on Wagramer Strasse 5, A-1400, Vienna, Austria. Confirmed participants may collect their badges in advance of the session from the registration counter at Gate 1 on Friday, 23 January 2026, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Alternatively, badges may also be collected at the registration counter on Monday, 26 January 2026, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. To collect badges outside these time frames, delegates are invited to go directly to the Pass Office at Gate 1.
List of participants
Participants who register by the deadline in Indico will be included in the provisional list of participants, which is circulated during the meeting. Corrections to the final list of participants may be made if submitted in writing to the secretariat (cybercrimeconvention@un.org) by 12 February 2026, at the latest.

Participants with accessibility or other specific needs are welcome to contact the secretariat (cybercrimeconvention@un.org) well in advance of the meeting to discuss how individual needs can be met.
