El año 2025 marca un hito en la ambición climática global, ya que los países deben presentar Contribuciones Determinadas a Nivel Nacional (NDC 3.0) más ambiciosas, en línea con el Acuerdo de París para limitar el aumento de la temperatura a 1,5 °C. En respuesta al Balance Global acordado en la COP28, Chile presenta su NDC actualizada 2025–2035, con mayor ambición en mitigación, adaptación y medios de implementación, alineada con su Estrategia Climática de Largo Plazo y los hallazgos del IPCC.

Para conmemorar este avance, se llevará a cabo un webinar de alto nivel que presentará oficialmente la NDC 3.0 de Chile. El evento fomentará un diálogo multisectorial sobre oportunidades y desafíos de su implementación, promoviendo la participación de gobierno, sociedad civil, sector privado, academia y otros actores clave en el cumplimiento de los compromisos climáticos del país.

¿Cómo registrarse?
Para registrarse en este evento, haga clic en el botón "Register now" que aparece a continuación.

En caso de que sea la primera vez que utiliza INDICO para registrarse en eventos de la ONU, se le pedirá que cree una cuenta. ¿Qué debo seleccionar en la sección "Representation"?
En el formulario de registro, se le pedirá que indique el tipo de organización a la que representa, seleccionando una opción del siguiente menú desplegable:

• Unidades y órganos de la Secretaría de las Naciones Unidas

• Organismos especializados y organizaciones relacionadas

Luego, deberá indicar el nombre de su organización o Parte.

¡Importante! Las categorías de Organizaciones intergubernamentales (OIG) y Organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) deben ser utilizadas únicamente por representantes de OIG y ONG que cuenten con estatus de observador ante la CMNUCC (ver: lista de ONG admitidas, lista de OIG admitidas). En caso de que su ONG u OIG no sea observadora, seleccione la categoría "Other".

¿Recibiré una confirmación de mi registro?
Una vez que haya completado el registro, recibirá una notificación por correo electrónico confirmando que se ha registrado para este evento. Posteriormente, será notificado(a) una vez que la secretaría haya aprobado su registro.

The year 2025 marks a milestone in global climate ambition, as countries must present more ambitious Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC 3.0) in line with the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting the temperature rise to 1.5 °C. In response to the Global Stocktake agreed at COP28, Chile is presenting its updated 2025–2035 NDC, with greater ambition in mitigation, adaptation, and means of implementation, aligned with its Long-Term Climate Strategy and the findings of the IPCC.

To commemorate this milestone, a high-level webinar will officially present Chile’s updated NDC 3.0. The event will foster multisectoral dialogue on the opportunities and challenges of its implementation, promoting the participation of government, civil society, the private sector, academia, and other key actors in advancing the country’s climate commitments.

How to register?

To register for this event, click on the "Register now" button below. 

In case this is your first time using INDICO for registering for UN events, you will be required to create an account. You will be able to use this account to speed up your registration process in the future. For detailed instructions on how to create an account, please refer to the manual in the attachments.

What should I select in the "Representation" section? 

In the registration form, you will be asked to indicate the type of the organization that you represent, selecting from the following drop-down list: 

• Parties (for representatives of the Parties to UNFCCC)

• United Nations Secretariat units and bodies

• Specialized agencies and related organizations

• Intergovernmental organizations (IGOs)

• Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

• Media 

• Other

Then, you will have to indicate the name of your organization/Party. 

Important! The Intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) categories should only be used by representatives of NGOs and IGOs that have observer status with UNFCCC (see: list of admitted NGOs, list of admitted IGOs). In case your NGO or IGO is not an observer, please select the "Other" category. 

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?  

Once you have completed the registration, you will receive an email notification confirming that you have registered for this event. Subsequently, you will be notified that your registration has been approved by the secretariat. 

How do I receive the link to join the event online? 

The link to join the event will be included in the registration confirmation email.
