Welcome to the 13th Edition of The Micro-UAS Remote Pilot Course.
We are delighted to welcome you to the 13th Edition of The Micro-UAS Remote Pilot Course (MUAS#13), a specialized training designed to prepare uniformed and civilian personnel for the safe and effective use of micro-UAS in United Nations Peace Operations.
This blended programme combines classroom instruction with hands-on, scenario-based exercises to ensure practical application in the field. Whether supporting force protection, civilian protection, or GIS and engineering tasks, participants will leave equipped with the skills and confidence to operate UAS responsibly in mission contexts.
About the Course
This course provides selected students with the knowledge and skills to operate micro-UAS in line with UN Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). Training focuses on the fundamentals of UAS flight, international and UN-specific regulations, operational safety, and applied mission scenarios.
Through interactive learning, participants will:

Gain practical experience in UAS take-off, landing, and flight manoeuvres.

Learn to apply international, national, and UN UAS regulations and ethical guidelines.

Understand environmental and human factors that impact flight safety.

Conduct basic data analysis to produce mission-relevant outputs.

Develop the competencies needed for future instructor roles (for top performers).
Certification levels

Remote Pilot Operator (successful graduates).

Assistant Certificate (for those who did not meet operator standards but can support UAS operations).

Certified TOT: Students scoring 80%+ may be nominated for the Training of Trainers (ToT) course. Those who are here for the TOT, upon passing their exams, will be awarded an Instructor Certificate.
