This training session integrates three essential courses focused on safe handling of dangerous substances and drug field testing. Participants will learn to identify, assess, and manage risks related to hazardous chemicals, particularly synthetic opioids, through both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice. Key topics include substance toxicity, PPE use, exposure control, decontamination, and incident response.
Additionally, the course introduces field testing of drugs and precursor chemicals, covering the use of Raman and UNODC color testing kits. Participants will gain practical skills in using these tools, interpreting results, and understanding the limitations of preliminary testing compared to laboratory analysis.
