Course Aim
- Train learners with hands-on practice and applied management of multiple UA applications.
- Allow experts to integrate their previous Tier I learning across applications in challenging, “real-time” crises scenarios.
Learners will be able to:
Determine the most appropriate applications(s) called for each situation
Identify actions required in each UA application to address the real-life scenario
Synthesize/integrate information obtained from different UA applications to address real-life scenarios
Assess options for decision-making/crises response based on UA data
Justify recommendations based on data obtained from UA applications
Methodology / Course Structure
- The training will be delivered in live instructor-led synchronous online sessions over the course of four days with two 5-hour sessions per day including 1 hour for lunch.
- Participants will be presented with a scenario and then work in a team of four roles (Contributor, Visualizer, Approver, Reporter) to define the necessary actions and steps to be taken within Unite Aware to ensure its optimal use for situational awareness and crises response.
- The team will then draw conclusions to respond to proposed tasks and share results with facilitators and experts, to obtain feedback and build their expertise in the use of UA applications.
- Learners receive a certificate after an evaluation by facilitators via clear and objective grading criteria and automated score calculations.
